This is Sivashanmugam Alagarsamy. I grew up in Kalpakkam (1990 batch of Kendriya Vidyalaya 1). Ever since I moved out of Kalpakkam, I have always been curious to know what was happening in Kalpakkam. I created this website in May, 2000, so anyone can post Kalpakkam related news to share with people like me . I used PostNuke for the website software. Back then, PostNuke was one of the most popular and actively developed open source community website platform. PostNuke worked very well and I was able to get things done with little effort. PostNuke development slowed down and now it is completely dead. I recently migrated this site to Drupal. Drupal is little complicated than PostNuke, but has lot more plug-ins and is very flexible.
